A product I want to order is out of stock, why is this?

All our products use as many naturally active ingredients as possible with minimal use of unnatural preservatives. In addition many of our ingredients are very specific and are sourced from small production raw ingredient suppliers from around the world. 


For this reason their shelf life is not as long as products that use a cocktail of chemical preservatives to give their products long shelf lives.


The upside of this is that our products are very naturally and highly effective but with a very low risk of causing irritation to sensitive or problem skin that has typically developed an intolerance to chemical ingredients.


The downside is that with very popular products which sometimes have surges in sales due to press reviews or on line reviews, we sometimes temporarily run out of stock due to the fact that we can't hold large amounts of stock because we like to ensure that our customers receive the freshest products that we can supply. 


We are always very sorry for any inconvenience that this causes. Our only option to make sure this never happens is to increase the preservatives in our products so we can hold larger amounts of stock. However we do not feel its worth compromising the natural quality and effectiveness of our products in order to do this. We know many of our customers rely on the fact that our products do not cause any reaction problems in their skin so we ask that sometimes our customers are a little patient with us if occasionally a product they have ordered is out of stock.


We'd like to assure all our customers that we do everything we can to make sure new stock is made as fast as possible and we always stock watch to see when we are running low and try and make sure there is a seamless transition to re-stocking. However sometimes when we get an exceptional surge in demand for a particular product, we can have a small period of time between running out of stock and the finished production of new stock. 


We always greatly appreciate our customers' patience on this matter. We also always make sure we inform our customers before they proceed to checkout about the waiting times for new stock if a product they want is temporarily out of stock. We also always offer the option for customers, even if they have decided to purchase a product on pre-order, to be refunded if they decide at any point during their wait for new stock that they no longer wish to wait. 


We feel we can't be any fairer than that.
