1. How does the toner minimise pores?
The key active is Miniporyl, a patented extract of wild Arctic red clover that has been shown to help reduce the appearance of enlarged pores within 15 days of regular use. Nordic birch juice supports this with its natural skin smoothing and tone improving properties, helping leave the complexion looking smoother, more refined and more even.
2. When do I use the toner in my routine?
After cleansing and before any treatment products. Sweep it over the face with a cotton pad, then follow with Silver Serum in the morning or Sebopure in the evening. It helps prepare the skin so your treatments can be applied to clean, refreshed skin.
3. How quickly will I see results?
Skin feels refreshed and smoother immediately. The pore minimising effect builds with consistent use.Clinical studies on Miniporyl have shown visible improvements in the appearance of enlarged pores within 15 days of daily use.*
4. Is it drying or astringent like other toners?
No. Many traditional toners rely on alcohol or harsh astringents that can leave skin feeling dry or uncomfortable. This toner works with Nordic botanicals, skin friendly ferments, witch hazel and white tea to refresh the skin and help support its natural balance, without tightness or irritation.
5. Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. The formula is free from added fragrance, SLS, MI and petroleum, and was developed for acne prone skin, which can often be sensitive as well. As with any new product, introduce it gradually if your skin is very reactive.
6. Can the toner replace cleansing?
No. They do different jobs. Cleansing removes oil, makeup and impurities, while the toner helps removeany remaining residue, refreshes the skin andhelps improve the appearance of enlarged pores with regular use. For best results, use it after the Silver & Birch Exfoliating Face Wash.
7. Is it suitable for men?
Absolutely. The fragrance free formula is suitable for everyone, and it makes an excellent refreshing step after shaving for oily or breakout prone skin.
8. Can I use it during pregnancy?
The toner is free from many ingredients people prefer to avoid, including added fragrance, SLS, MI and petroleum. However, skin can behave differently during pregnancy, and we always recommend checking with your GP, midwife or pharmacist before introducing new skincare while pregnant or breastfeeding
