1. How do I apply ZnO Clear?
In the evening, dab a small amount directly onto visible blemishes and areas where a blemish is beginning to develop using a clean fingertip.Gently press the product into place without rubbing.Apply it after cleansing and after any treatment products, such as Silver Serum or Sebopure, as the final step of your evening routine.Leave it on overnight and cleanse as usual the following morning.
2. Why does it look white on my skin?
That's the mineral zinc oxide.A thin white layer after application is completely normal and forms part of the product's protective action.ZnO Clear is designed for overnight use, so leave it in place while you sleep and cleanse as usual the following morning.
3. How quickly will I see results?
Many people notice that treated blemishes look less noticeable after the first few applications, while visible improvements in the overall appearance of the skin are often seen with consistent use over two to three weeks.Applying ZnO Clear as soon as a blemish becomes visible helps make it part of your regular overnight skincare routine
4. Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes.Its deliberately simple formula contains just six carefully selected ingredients. The plant derived squalane is very similar to the skin's own lipids, helping keep skin comfortable without clogging pores. The formula is fragrance free and contains no alcohol or harsh exfoliating ingredients, making it suitable for sensitive, blemish prone skin.
5. Can I use it with other Clarol products?
Yes. It is designed as the targeted final step of the Clarol evening routine. Cleanse with the Exfoliating Face Wash, follow with Birch Water Pore Minimising Toner, apply Sebopure and Silver Serum if you use them, then dab ZnO Clear onto visible blemishes as the final step.
6. Can I use it during the day?
ZnO Clear is designed for overnight use,as the protective zinc layer remains visible on the skin after application. For this reason, most people prefer to use it in the evening and leave it on overnight.During the day, follow your usual Clarol skincare routine and apply makeup if desired.
7. Can I use it on body breakouts?
Yes. It is suitable for blemish prone areas of the body, including the back, chest and shoulders. Apply to clean, dry skin in the evening, just as you would on the face.
8. Can I use it during pregnancy?
ZnO Clear has a deliberately simple formula containing just six ingredients. However, skin can behave differently during pregnancy, and we always recommend checking with your GP, midwife or pharmacist before introducing any new skincare product during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
