Why do you have silicones like dimethicone in your products?

Dimethicone is a great ingredient.

It is almost 100% inert and non reactive. So the Kalme range is about reducing sensitivity and doing nothing to irritate our customers' skin. So an ingredient that is 100% non reactive is a good thing.

It is also a particle that is too large to be absorbed into the skin and helps keep moisture locked in. This is something else we are trying to achieve good customer skin moisturisation.

It also makes skin feel smooth and nice. So in balance with other ingredients it makes our creams nice to apply, have nice skin feel and keep the skin feeling supple and smooth for a good time after applying one of our creams. We have many other ingredients which do this work as well. But dimethicone is a team player.

Finally, Dimethicone is also noncomedogenic which means it does not clog pores.
