KALME Cleanser

1. How do you use a no-rinse cleanser? Dispense a coin-sized amount onto a cotton pad and sweep it gently over your face in circular motions, including over eye make-up. There is no need to wet your face first, and you do not rinse it off afterwards. The cleanser is designed to stay on the skin, lifting away dirt, make-up and sun cream while leaving skin moisturised. Use it morning and night in place of your usual wash.
2. Do you rinse off KALME Cream Cleanser? No. Unlike foaming washes, it is not rinsed off. After sweeping it over the skin with a cotton pad, you simply leave it on. This is the most common thing new users get wrong, and skipping the rinse is what allows the cleanser to keep skin comfortable and hydrated rather than tight.
3. Why is cleansing without water better for rosacea? For many people with rosacea, washing with warm or cold water and rinse-off cleansers can strip the skin's natural oils and trigger flushing. Cleansing without water avoids the temperature changes and barrier disruption that set off redness, which is why a water-free cleanser is often gentler on reactive, rosacea-prone skin
4. Does KALME Cream Cleanser remove make-up? Yes. It removes everyday make-up, foundation and sun cream without soaps or detergents. For a full face of make-up you may need a little more product or a second pass with a fresh pad. It also lifts most eye make-up, though very stubborn waterproof mascara may need a dedicated eye remover first.
5. Is KALME Cream Cleanser suitable for sensitive and reactive skin? Yes. It is fragrance-free, soap-free and dermatologically tested, and was developed specifically for rosacea-prone, red and reactive skin. Many customers who react to other cleansers, including some marketed for sensitive skin, find that this one does not sting or irritate.
6. Will it dry out or strip my skin? No. It is formulated to cleanse without stripping. Sweet almond oil, glycerin and pro-vitamin B5 help skin feel soft, hydrated and comfortable after cleansing rather than tight or dry, which is why it suits skin that finds traditional washes harsh.
7. Can men use KALME Cream Cleanser? Yes. It is suitable for anyone with rosacea, facial redness, or sensitive skin, regardless of gender, and many of our customers buy it for partners who are managing rosacea. It can also be used after shaving on reactive skin.
8. Can I use it if I have acne, eczema or very dry skin alongside rosacea? The cleanser is gentle and non-stripping, and many customers managing rosacea alongside dryness, eczema-prone skin or occasional breakouts use it daily. As with any new product, if you have a diagnosed skin condition or your skin is currently very inflamed, introduce it gradually and stop if irritation occurs.
9. How long does a tube last, and is it economical? Used twice daily, a 150ml tube typically lasts a couple of months, as a little goes a long way. You will use more on days you are removing a full face of make-up, and less on a simple morning cleanse.
10. How long until I see results? Skin usually feels cleaner, softer and more comfortable from the very first use. Reductions in redness and reactivity build gradually over several weeks of consistent daily use, so it is best thought of as part of a long-term routine rather than a quick fix.
