HYDROSIL Eye Duo

1. What's included in the Hydrosil Dry Eye Care Duo Pack?
Two products: Hydrosil Dry Eye Gel (15ml) and Hydrosil Dry Eye Concealer (5ml). The gel soothes and hydrates the skin on the eyelids and around the eyes, and the concealer covers redness and brightens the under-eye area. Together they make a simple two-step routine for dry, sensitive skin around the eyes.
2. Why buy the Duo Pack instead of the two products separately?
The pack brings both products together at a lower price than buying them individually, and they are made to work as a pair: the gel cares for the skin, and the concealer covers it without undoing that care. You can still buy either one on its own if you prefer.
3. In what order do I use them?
Apply Hydrosil Dry Eye Gel first to clean, dry skin on the eyelids and around the eyes, and let it absorb. Once the gel has sunk in, apply Hydrosil Dry Eye Concealer over the top, then any eye make-up. In the evening, use the gel on its own. Avoid direct contact with the eyes throughout.
4. Can I use the gel without the concealer, or the concealer without the gel?
Yes. The gel can be worn on its own, morning and night, and the concealer can be worn whenever you want coverage, on its own or over the gel. Many people use the gel every day and reach for the concealer when they want to even out the eye area.
5. Is the Duo Pack suitable for eczema-prone or sensitive skin around the eyes?
Many customers use both products on dry, red-looking, eczema-prone or dermatitis-prone skin on the eyelids and under the eyes. They are skincare and cosmetic products for the surrounding skin, not medical treatments for eczema or dermatitis. Patch test before first use, and if symptoms are severe or persistent, see your GP.
6. Will it sting or irritate my eyes?
Both products are made for sensitive, reactive skin around the eyes, are steroid-free and dermatologically tested for sensitive skin, with no added perfume. Many customers tell us they are the first eye products in years that do not sting or dry out the skin around their eyes. As with any product for sensitive skin, patch test first, avoid broken skin, and stop using if it stings or feels uncomfortable. Avoid direct contact with the eyes, and if any gel gets into the eye, rinse it with warm water.
7. Do these products contain steroids?
No. Both the Dry Eye Gel and the Dry Eye Concealer are steroid-free, so they are suitable for gentle, everyday, ongoing use on the delicate skin around the eyes.
8. How long until I notice a difference?
The concealer covers redness and dark shadows from the first application. With the gel, many customers notice the skin feeling cooler, calmer and more comfortable within the first few uses, and the skin around the eyes often looks calmer over two to three weeks of regular use. Everyone's skin is different, so use it consistently and give it time.
9. What shade is the concealer, and will it suit my skin tone?
It comes in one shade, a natural fair-to-medium tone, so it suits light to medium skin best. The coverage is light and buildable, so you can sheer it out or build it up. It is not currently available in darker shades.
10. Is the Duo Pack vegan?
It is vegetarian rather than vegan. The Dry Eye Gel is suitable for vegans, but the Dry Eye Concealer contains beeswax, so the pack as a whole is vegetarian. Both products are free from parabens, SLS and MI, with no added perfume, and are animal test-free by PETA.
