PSOregon Skin duo

1. What is the PSOregon Skin Care Pack? It is a two-step skincare duo for skin prone to psoriasis, dryness and scaling, pairing PSOregon Maintenance Cream with PSOregon Intensive Serum at a saving on buying them separately. The cream is your everyday, all-over moisturiser for larger areas, and the serum is the concentrated step for smaller, sore or stubborn patches.
2. Why use the two together? They do two different jobs. The Maintenance Cream keeps larger areas of the body and face soft and comfortable day to day, while the more concentrated Intensive Serum targets the smaller patches that stay sore and stubborn. Using the cream all over and the serum only where it is needed is the most effective and the most economical way to use them, since the 50ml serum lasts longer that way.
3. How do I use the pack? Apply the Maintenance Cream twice daily to clean, dry skin over larger affected areas, then apply the Intensive Serum to smaller, sore or stubborn patches, morning and evening. Keep using both on problem areas even once skin has settled. Patch test first, introduce the serum gradually on the face, and stop if any irritation occurs.
4. Which one do I use where? Use the cream on larger areas like the arms, legs, torso and face, and anywhere prone to dryness and scaling. Use the serum on the smaller, worst-affected patches that need more intensive care, such as stubborn spots on the elbows, knees, hands or hairline. Many customers use the serum on a flare and the cream everywhere else.
5. Will it help with psoriasis? The PSOregon Skin Care Pack is made up of cosmetic skincare products, not medicines, so it is not a treatment or cure for psoriasis. What the duo does is help soften dry, scaly skin, calm the look of redness and soreness, and keep skin comfortable, which many people with psoriasis-prone skin find helpful as part of a daily routine. If your skin is severe, painful, broken or not improving, it is worth speaking to your GP or a dermatologist.
6. Can I use it on my face? Yes. The cream is light enough for daily use on the face, and the serum can be used on facial patches with care. Because the serum is concentrated, introduce it gradually, patch test first, and keep both away from the immediate eye area. Stop if any irritation occurs.
7. Does it contain steroids, coal tar or added perfume? No. Both products are free from steroids, coal tar, mineral oils, SLS, MI, parabens and added perfume. They are 95% and 96% naturally derived and have only a mild, natural scent, which is why many customers who react to fragranced or medicated products find the range suits them.
8. Is the pack vegan and cruelty-free, and where is it made? Yes. Both products are PETA Approved Vegan and cruelty-free, the pack is dermatologically tested, and everything is made in Britain.
9. Is it suitable for eczema or other dry, scaly skin? Many customers use the products on dry, flaky or eczema-prone skin, and they are made for sensitive, easily irritated skin. That said, PSOregon is formulated specifically for psoriasis-prone, scaly and plaque-prone skin, so if your main concern is dry, sensitive, eczema-prone skin, our Hydrosil range is designed for exactly that. If you are unsure, patch test first and check with your GP or pharmacist.
10. PSOregon or Hydrosil: which one do I need? The two ranges are made for different skin. PSOregon is for skin prone to psoriasis, with thicker, raised, silvery scale and plaque. Hydrosil is for dry, sensitive, eczema-prone skin where the main concern is fine flaking, itching and tightness rather than plaque. A simple guide: if you have raised, scaly plaques, choose PSOregon; if you have dry, flaky, easily irritated skin, choose Hydrosil. If you are not sure what is behind your skin trouble, it is always worth asking your GP to take a look.
11. How long will the pack last? The 150ml cream is sized for regular all-over use, and the 50ml serum is concentrated, so a little goes a long way when it is kept for the worst patches. How long the pack lasts depends on how much skin you are treating and how often you flare. You can set up a subscription so you never run out.
12. Can I also use it with the PSOregon Anti-Plaque Shampoo and Conditioner? Yes. The Skin Care Pack looks after dry, scaly skin on the body and face, while the PSOregon Anti-Plaque Shampoo and Conditioner care for the scalp and hair. If you have both skin and scalp concerns, the PSOregon Total Care Pack brings all four products together as a complete routine, at a saving on buying them separately.
